Welcome to the Blog for the South Jersey Yarners Group.

Our group meets twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Fridays to help our community members with all projects related to Yarning. The meetings are held at the Camden County Library- Voorhees, 3rd flr. Rm C

Our group consists of all ages and both Women AND Men who work with all things yarn related.  We will teach any beginner and help with any new skills you are looking to learn.

The group is anchored by several experienced yarners at every meeting. Generally you will meet, Rachel (our primary group founder) – who knits, crochets, works needlepoint, and more; Stevie – who knits, crochets, tats, and more; Arlene – who knits, crochets, and more, but works the tiniest sizes in the most amazing ways; and Jim – who is our resident Knook guy, crochets, works needlepoint, and is our behind the scenes web and social media guru.

Our youngest beginner started at age 6, and our oldest beginner started at age 86 and still works new skills!  Collectively our number of years of experience averages over well over 30 years.

We can’t wait to meet you….
